Manual QA Foundation

Are these software testing courses really free?
Yes. Every course on Resync Bootcamp is free to access with no signup, no paywall and no premium tier. There is no certificate of completion, because the practice exercises are designed to build skill you can demonstrate rather than a certificate you can frame.
Do I need a background in coding to start?
No. The Manual QA Foundation courses — Software Testing Fundamentals through to Test Management — need only a web browser. The Quality Engineering track assumes you can read basic JavaScript, and teaches Playwright and Node.js from first principles.
Are the courses aligned to ISTQB?
The content is aligned to the ISTQB syllabus at Foundation Level, Advanced Test Analyst and Advanced Test Manager, and updated for modern Quality Engineering practice. It is not an exam cram — the practice pages test whether you can find real defects, not whether you can recall definitions.
Is the content specific to New Zealand?
Yes. Worked examples use NZ scenarios, and the courses cover the Privacy Act 2020, the NZ Web Accessibility Standard 1.2, All-of-Government standards and NZISM where they affect testing. The testing techniques themselves apply anywhere.
